Oregon Society of Artists is unique in the way it handles class and workshop registrations, exhibit entries, and instructor compensation, so it has been necessary for the software to be adapted to our needs by discovering/implementing many "unique-to-us" business rules. We have a fairly complicated product with many add-ons so we have appreciated and utilized their customization. Presentation of our classes is clear and has an attractive styling/design. Client records track both program registrations and donations which is ideal for development staff. Affordable pricing. New staff can quickly pick up how to use this software; no need to fly to a training center for a week of training. Art Center Canvas continues to add new features and functionality like gift certificates. Phone calls, emails are responded to with what we perceive as aggression and a feeling that we have been an annoyance. (However, I will note that the company reps have been quick to respond during urgent issues, even if outside of business hours.) Never have we felt that they had our (the customer) interest at heart. Our ability to provide input on new features and suggest improvements to streamline our operations has helped us to scale our operations with our growth. In 2018, we made the decision to improve our online shopping of ceramic artwork from nearly 150 artists across the U.S. We shopped around for software that could effectively process online gallery sales. ACC and their support team was our best option. We trust ACC's level of support and responsiveness to our center's needs. It was a major project with considerable team work among our web developers, ACC and staff.
