DocMeIn is a web-based patient appointment scheduling solution designed primarily for individual practitioners and small healthcare facilities across the United States, Russia, Canada and Australia. The solution helps medical centers to book online appointments with patients and send them automated reminders for their upcoming appointments.

The solution offers features such as the color-coded calendar which allows doctors and medical practitioners to manage their daily appointments in a group calendar with customized coloring to indicate appointment type and status. Users can reschedule or change an appointment through the intuitive drag and drop interface. It also allows setting up of recurring appointments on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Medical centers can set up flexible business hours including break hours, holidays or vacation period. These business hours are then enforced while interacting with patients so that patients can book appointments only from the time slots available. The appointment reminder is a key feature of this solution which allows users to send automated email, text or voice messages to alert patients about their upcoming appointments and reduces no-shows. Patients can also confirm, reschedule or cancel the appointment online anytime.

DocMeIn is a free online appointment scheduling service wherein users are charged only for the add-on premium services such as text messages and automated phone calls. The solution can sync with other e-calendars such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, iCalendar and more.

The intuitive interface is excellent. Very easy to set up and operate. The automated client reminder emails are a boon, and integration with the Google calendar app really helps keep me on track when I'm on the go.

If only it have client health history integration available. Then it really would be a heavy hitter.

It is very very simple and offers the basic online booking feature. It also allows you to save patient data such as DOB, health card info and insurance info, contact info, etc. Works well for a desktop ONLY.

Crashes often!!! Making It unreliable. Also there is literally no tech support. There is no phone number for you to call. The site is not smart-device friendly and can only be efficiently used on a desktop. Has no capability for Intake/SOAP notes. Does not do billing. You WILL need to use another program for your business needs if you are a registered health peofessional.

Dont expect this prodcut to get you the results you want overnight, it takes time and participants, but once fully implemented this is a fantastic scheduling tool.

I did quite a bit of research when I first decided to begin using an electronic calendar for my psychology practice. DocMeIn far surpassed every other product that I looked at, even the ones that charged a fee for their services. But what really surprised me, was how responsive their customer service was when I needed help. Once my staff realized how simple it was to check their schedules from any computer or smart phone, there was no going back to our paper schedule book.
