Whova provided a detailed schedule, as well as options for what sessions were available. Whova allowed me to make a custom schedule based on what talks or groups I wanted to participate in. Whova also provided a place to post pictures and questions for different sessions, as well as interact with other attendees.

Whova had a lot of different components that made it overwhelming.

Whova had lots of options and is flexible to accommodate a wide variety of needs.

It is overwhelming and confusing and the scoreboard features seem unnecessary.

The fee structure of Whova is far and away better than other event platforms I've used. We use Whova for a fundraising event, so lower fees help us raise more money for charity. Everything on the platform is super intuitive and user-friendly.

It's not a con, but there are a lot of features I don't use on the platform so I don't necessarily use it to the most of its capabilities.

I liked that I could see the whole agenda for each day of our conference. I liked the ability to choose which session I wanted to attend before the conference even started.

There were a lot of notifications that were not pertinent to me. It would be great to only get notifications about the meet-ups I chose.

It was a direct link to all things conference. Being an app on your phone makes it super convenient.

I didn't find anything I didn't like with it.

It was easy to download and to use. I also liked the polls.

THat it was almost too simple. There were times that I would have liked to do multiple things and wasnt able to do them at once. Maybe that is a possibility, I dont know, maybe on a tablet I dont know that either.

How easy it was to use. There was a lot of information about the event condensed into a very easy to use format.

However, some authors did not update anything about their work. Some minimum information will be needed for all works.

Ability to review agenda (by day and time) for entire conference and to select then review my agenda separately. Also, the app supports interaction with an easy to use and reliable poll / survey option, and, being able to access materials for my sessions immediately and to view information on the speakers was great!

There weren't any features that I disliked about the app. However, I did not use the networking option very much.

The quality of video, the sound and color is very clear and rich. Assigning self to the workshops and a visual of my agenda was useful.
The sign on was difficult from remote location as I connected through my work email. In the past an email was sent with the link, click, sign on and connect.

How we signed on to the meeting. We had to go to a website, and find meeting and sign in with matching a picture.

Provided easy access to the entire agenda and my personal agenda. Provided an easy way to connect with other conference members.

Tough at first to find the session evaluations. Had to click to many links and sign in on another platform. Would have been better to imbed the evaluations in each session.

I love that I could see the itinerary for the entire conference listed ahead of time, I could see who was attending and engage with people ahead of time as well.

there is nothing that I dislike about Whova, I have used this app before for a couple of other conferences and always get excited when I see it is going to be used for an upcoming conference.

I like the agenda feature. I like the ability to attach documents to the various sessions for attendees to refer to later. Fairly easy to use.

I would prefer to turn off some notifications- it was all or nothing. It would be really great if the daily notices from the conference admins were more notified in a different way - a bigger splash or something. I also think the "personal interests" needs some more customization opportunities for participants. Pre-covid travel was the only travel option - makes it sound like I don't like traveling now. Also "day trips with the hubby" is rather limiting - I'm a widow and I love day trips by myself or with a friend. Why not just "day trips" (or it might have been weekend trips) - write-in options could be nice, too.
